Belive in Nice

37773964_1126561174148919_6167494537938731008_o I saw this on someone’s license plate holder, and it made me smile. It has been brought to my attention multiple times that nice people are scary because they seem fake and insincere. I promise you I am real and I am nice. I wish more people would believe in being nice and trust that there are truly nice people. There are too many fake people out there that give us nice people a bad reputation. It is really sad how some people are afraid to be nice.  They worry it will lead to hurt and disappointment or the possibility of being used.    How do you change the world?  As  God says in Evan Almighty  A.R.K. One Act of kindness at a time… That is how I choose to live…  I challenge you to be kind once in a while at least. 😊

Shout out to the “AWC”

🗣 I want to give a shout out to “AWC”. I found them thanks to JJ’s Design and Creations. I’m happy to have found them. Espessily Gina Wynn! She is such a joy to work with. It has taken me months to seek out a good formatter since Amazon decided to declare my kindle book full of errors. And thus removed from Kindle Select. I was so sad… Then my personal computer broke and it took me even longer to find a formatter. Thanks to her not only do I get a pretty new kindle book, I get a nice epub and pdf version too. As well as a new friend!  She is now also a team member at A Novel Life LLC. Woot! Woot! I can not wait to finish more books so I can have her work her magic!

 Check them out!

I give them  Five Stars!

Happy New Year 2018

Screenshot at Dec 31 21-18-50.pngHey all! Happy New Year!

Out  with the old and in with the New right? I don’t know about you but this year has been something dramatic novel! I feel as if a lot of what has happened the past few years has been surreal.   Some great moments, among some very tying times. As if I was  someone else watching my life as it happened. I can not at this time go into details of everything. In short Its been hard emotionally, mentally, and physically. My faith has truly been tested. There were times I thought I wouldn’t’t be able to handle it. Sometimes you are forced to make hard choices. I had to yet gain put my books on hold for various reasons.

I was surprised tho this Christmas when I received a gift  from one of my biggest supporters. She gave me a Mac Pro laptop computer. It is not huge, but its is way more then I could have asked for or though to request.  In return she expects me to publish some books this year. The wonderful woman is going though so much right now and yet she invested in me. I sure hope I don’t let her or any of you down. The Mac is so different from what I am used to.  I do not have the programs, adaptor port, or mouse that I need yet. However, that will be rectified in a matter of days.  From what I have discovered so far the Mac pro is amazing. This touch pad is great. I feel so bad, that still haven’t published any books since  “God Supplies and Miracles Happen”.  I have been without a computer for several moths.  Plus Money has been extra tight. I feel truly blessed and completely surprised. I don’t  feel worth it somedays.  At times I felt I should give up… But then I am surprised you all still are  here believing in me. I am truly humbled! I pray I can live up to your expectations and then some. I have an amazing group people in my life and a wonderful family. I want to remind  you, God is bigger then the situations we are in. I sure pray this coming year is better for all of you.  I love you all I am truly truly grateful!  May this year  bring you  an abundance of blessings and open doors. God bless you today and always!😁

Hello all you wonderful people out there! How you doing? I’m sorry I have been taking a Hiatus from here and Facebook. Which pretty much has been for the past couple months. I’m not officially back yet, but I felt like I should give you all an update. I went to #Authorplusa2017 last month with some amazing Authors! I’m still in happy daze because of it. I met The event coordinator and Author David Michael before the event took. I took a six hour ride with him to the hotel. I met his wonderful grandmother and her friend as well. He is an awesome guy all around. A Total gentleman. Then I met the author Sherry Ficklin in the hall before the event. Also she’s a totally awesome person. We spent a few days beforehand hanging out grabbing dinner and drinks. With her author friend Kathy-Lynn Cross and my editor Sara Tassill– More awesome people! I shared a table with authors Anjiu Sutomu and C.J. Foxx and his sister. Who was funny smart considerate. There were multiple genres at this event. I  even had the pleasure to see my Big brother Curtis, and my longstanding buddy Mikey Lee! Yay! I met so many new people. Like the awesome Scott Hildreth, who writes  in multiple genres.  He has an amazing   kids book “The Flying Pig” An inspirational story about a pig that wanted to fly. I met his lovely wife who is also an Author and Artist Jessica Hildreth Designs.

It was definitely a good experience.  I have no idea what book event I will be going to next. There are so many I would love to go to. Yet so little time and money to do so at the moment. I promise to let you guys know if I plan to go to another book event in the future. I love you so much! God bless you today and always

Don’t Sell yourself Out.

Screenshot at Dec 31 16-57-29

Don’t sell your self short! Be yourself~ I adore people. I am a pretty laid back person. I am usually cheerful, egar to help, and alwaus full of support. I’ve often been told that I can be quite annoying until a person gets to know me. I like just about everyone except, I have to draw the line at fake people. There’s a difference between being busy and being fake. I am very grateful to have awesome wonderful friends and rarely running across fake people. My word of advice is be yourself no matter what. There’s no one better at being you, than you being you.  There is only one you and not everyone is gonna like you.  Don’t change who you are, or how you think, to please others, because then you arn’t being true to yourself.  God made us different for a reason. Life would be pretty boring if we were all the same. Smile and know you are awesome and special.  #truth

My Thoughts on Love…

14915368_544366432429562_4425377759805407885_n

After talking with many couples for research and curiosity. The hardest thing they have to overcome is the first admission of feelings. After that, it continues to take great courage to trust another person with those feelings. But it doesn’t end there. When the couple can’t be or stay open about their feeling – the relationship starts to fall apart. It is often stressed communication is the key to making the relationship work; compromising is equally important too. If you know me I’ve had boyfriends and a past fiancee. Working on these books made me wonder is there only one person for us, what happens if you miss him or her? Does another come along or will you keep getting chances to win their heart? From what I have witnessed, there are many “will do’s” but only one “My one & only”. What you need is always different for each person. That is why love/romance books are so popular and will never end. There are just so many stories to tell. I have also wondered is it true the person who confessed love first is the top dog in the relationship? I don’t think so. I agree it takes a massive amount of courage to be honest like that. Yet, I truly believe that the best relationships are ones where there is equal respect, honesty, and trust. The person who first confesses is the key to the start of the new beginning together and gets huge kudos. Sometimes a person has to confess or be vulnerable more than once. It is important to be open. If you don’t try you won’t know. Due to bad timing, or miss understandings you can easily get discouraged. Both parties have equal responsibilities to give their best to keep the relationship good. It won’t always be equal. But that’s not an excuse to not try your best. I think that saying is true love is a battlefield – because you have to fight to keep it going, you have to fight for it. Otherwise, someone or something may steal your love away.   You may not always feel in love, you may not always like the person. But at the end of the day who would, you want to be with?  Your mate should be your best friend, not just a love interest. Someone that will love you for your flaws and scars as well as your inner and outer beauty. Because you are worth it.! Also, it is not ok if they abuse you – emotionally, mentally or physically… That is not love, that is control.

I am encouraged by my research and I have hope my one will come eventually to stay in my heart and life. WHEN the time is right for me.  I hope you find that one you are willing to fight for too. In the meantime keep an eye here on info on my upcoming works. Also please don’t forget my blog., writing and life are a work in progress as always but there for a reason.

God bless you all.

OPEN YOUR CHEST OF DREAMS

❀✎☆How was your weekend all? Long? I know what happened Friday really got me thinking.. I used to say this all the time but I feel like I don’t say it enough… LIFE IS SHORT! My grandma Sylvia, even in her in her 80’s, would say that “You should never grow up, enjoy life to the fullest”. We all have goals and dreams that we want to follow, yet the reality is that our needs get in the way. By the time most of us get done what ‘has to be done’ we are too tired and burned out to do what we want. We lock our dreams, goals and hopes up in a chest, but then the chest gets dusty and we forget about it. I don’t want to forget about my Dreams and neither should you. You need to make time to follow them. If it involves money then start saving. If it’s about health then get to it. Going after what you want in life is never easy. You have to fight for it. That includes love and relationships too. Nothing worth having is easy. Personally I am getting back on track, I was depressed for a while but I shook it off thanks to good friends and a change in my attitude. Don’t let the lies- “I’m not good enough”, “I don’t deserve it”, “I can’t do it” get in your way. Guess what, YOU ARE AWESOME! You have unique gifts no one else has and you are one of a kind. You need to believe in yourself..fight for yourself, because you are worth it! Go find your locked chest and open it!!  Never say Never! ❀✎☆

Imperfect Person

Kuffs

“LIFE happens while you’re making other plans”-Unknown

I first saw that quote in the movie “Kuffs” Time flies so fast, choices are made, roads are traveled, plans, and dreams are made. It is a truth that is more real over the past years than it has ever been in my life. Don’t let disappointments broken plans and broken dreams get you down because God’s got a plan.  I know it is really hard, at least it  can be for me.  When I think about where I want to be in life, all I have done and not done….  I have done a lot in my life… I have so many dreams and so many goals… Yet I often get lost in the reality of now.  Now I feel  like I  am accomplishing so little… Especially with my broken foot and being unable to drive. The pressure I put on myself to be this amazing person  wears me out…  Sure I Have a  short story and a small book published. But only one book out of the many I’ve been working on for years…  I look at the past Five years I have definitely leaned a lot  and experienced a lot… But I feel so far away from where I want to be and I often get lonely… Do you sometimes feel like that?

We have to do our best and make the most of every opportunity, and be Thankful for what we have.  We can’t get lost in the “What ifs”  we have to live in the now. That is the best I and you can do with Life… I believe  God has a purpose for everyone but we also have free will.  I don’t want to live with regrets.   I don’t want you to have regrets either,  so please follow your heart and listen to God.  Every moment and every choice can and will affect  your future…  That includes how you treat  others and what you say. “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.  By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” –John 13:34-35

Make time to enjoy life, and don’t get so wrapped up in Must  do’s and Have to do’s…  They will get done.  Take things one  thing at a time and Don’t overload yourself and  you will move forward one step at a time. Don’t over think because that’s a sure way to get stressed out  which will lead to an emotional  crash.  Lets face it tho we all need  a good cry once in a while.  We all tend to bottle things inside until they explode… It is ok to cry. That is how God created us to be able to release our stress and feelings. And it is ok to talk to God honestly and Openly.  Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. -John 14:27

I know from experience.  I took a huge leap of faith and moved across country and my life turned upside down! I keep bring that up because it was a huge deal.  I know God won’t ever give you more then you can handle and you are never alone.  “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”-Philippines 4:19

I let go of the reins and I let God start guiding me completely. It hasn’t been the easiest road but it sure has been a wild adventure and I look forward to what God has for me in the future. I find peace when I don’t try to take the whole world on my shoulder. That is not easy for sure. We try so hard to  Take charge and stay in control. But lets face it.. Sometimes in doing so we get lost in emotions, stress, needs,  thoughts and  we forget our main purpose. To lead others To Christ.  To Love one another, which means being there for each other. (At least that is what I feel our main purpose is as  God’s children.) “All things work for good for those who love the Lord”  –Romans 8:28  Hold on to that when the going gets tough and remember you are never alone!

Sure we all have responsibilities. I am not saying neglect them.. But instead turn to God to help you with your needs and wants. And in doing so you will find comfort and peace.. ~Psalms 23~ We try so hard to be What we  think we should be  That God has to force us sometimes to take a break and just be in His presence. And Honestly where else would you want to be? That is where I want to be. Always in God’s will, Always in God’s Peace and love… No matter how hard things Get… I am so Glad I have Father God, Jesus and  The holy Spirit with me. As do you! Do not be so hard  on yourself. Only Jesus was perfect… It is impossible for us to be no matter how hard we try. But God loves us anyways and He wants the best for us!

For all men have sinned and have missed the shining-greatness of God.24 Anyone can be made right with God by the free gift of His loving-favor. It is Jesus Christ Who bought them with His blood and made them free from their sins. 25 God gave Jesus Christ to the world. Men’s sins can be forgiven through the blood of Christ when they put their trust in Him. God gave His Son Jesus Christ to show how right He is. Before this, God did not look on the sins that were done. 26 But now God proves that He is right in saving men from sin. He shows that He is the One Who has no sin. God makes anyone right with Himself who puts his trust in Jesus. -Romans 3:23-26  (NLV)
