๐ What are you grateful for? I have a full list below but first I am so grateful for Jesus, the important people in my life, and for science advances. I am so blessed to be here alive today! Twenty-two years ago, I went in for open heart surgery November 27th. I woke up with a completely rebuilt heart weeks later after complications. Truly Amazing! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your love ones. I love ya! Know you matter and you are loved. Someone is out there who is grateful for you.โค

We kept it really simple this year. Communion along with a small Chinese food buffet for myself and my parents. Sometimes simple is nicer than a big fancy ordeal.

The Forth and Last leg…Part 3
Hello Fellow friends,
Well, I am home now but I had a wonderful time with my man and his lovely family. I learned so much about him and all of them. We did so much with and without his family. My man and went on dates and walks. It was really nice. I got him some shirts he liked and some collector books he wanted. He got me a Totoro purse and wallet and some lotion and body spray too. It is not about the things, to me, the gifts are special because they are from the one I love! As for the rest of the family, they have to wait for Christmas…
When we spent time with his family as well as doing outings and everyday tasks.. We didn’t go to the beach or Disneyland unfortunately. We did however go to Medieval Times! I hadn’t been there since I was thirteen for my friend’s birthday in Florida. Here are some of the pictures I took. I hope they don’t mind me sharing them.
One weekend we watched movies and games. I even exchanged birthday and Christmas gifts as well with him. One of the weekends we had an outdoor bbq, watched a movie on a projector and did some rock painting, played soccer and other outdoor games.
I really enjoyed the one on one time with his mom too. We had a nice heart to heart talks. She even gave me a very sweet heartfelt gift from Starbucks as a surprise one night! It is special for so many reasons. It has all the state specialty emblems, I collect cups, it was a surprise, it showed she cared and was thinking of me. I wish I could have done so much more for them! I wish I had got to know his dad more tho.
I stayed for almost three weeks. When I had free time alone worked on writing my books in progress.
I can’t believe it is only a few days from Thanksgiving!! I look forward to coming back there often. It helps that the man I love has family in California. I totally felt at home with his family and in California. I was really nervous about staying with them but I think it went well. There was so much more I had wanted to do with them and for them. I miss them all so much. His family is my family as well. That’s how I feel in my heart. I never felt uncomfortable or out of place. I just wish I could bring them all back with me! It would sure make things easier for us all. California is one of the few states that I wouldnโt mind moving to. Though I am unable to take permanent residence there mainly because of my Medical specialists and health care requirements.
I can not believe I had to say goodbye. It really broke my heart. I cried so much. I keep telling myself it is not over tho and we will be together again soon. The most important thing is I have so many wonderful memories from this trip and all the trips I have been on this year. I can not express how much I appreciate everyone and everything. To me making memories and spending time with the ones you care about is more important than anything else. Remember to take time for your loved ones and friends as well! I feel so refreshed and drained at the same time.

The Forth and Last leg…Part 2
Hello Friends!!
Thus far even tho all the traveling I have done has been for my family and myself. I am super excited to be here in California for me. The trip I had been planing for a very long time has finally happened. Thanks to the help of my sister, having me for the company! Being in California is like being in Florida. Only with no humidity and the presence of mountains.
The traffic isn’t to bad, but it is smoggy. Maybe away from the city, it won’t be so bad. I have to say we are again at another awesome hotel in Aanaheimnaheim. To bad, we won’t have time to go to Disney. My sister and I are really sore too. She hurt her back and I hurt my knee. I can tell she is ready to go home but has had a lot of fun.

Beautiful right! This is the smallest room we have stayed in the whole time of travel. But I am not complaining. It is another nice hotel. This one has more of a home feel thought he entire place with a convenient novelty shop and cafe / coffee bar. I got also got a ton of postcards from every place we went to. It is something I have been doing since I was little. A great cheap souvenir! I collect postcards as I travel for mailing and myself. Usually a landmark or something about the place or state I am in. Do you do something like that to? My baby sister collects spoons. I think I started that hobby when I as in hospitals. I would always and still do get something from the gift shop for me and my loved ones. Out of the two hobbies, I think collecting postcards is cheaper right?
The most awesome thing about being in CA is my man is here! I got to see him today. I was so nervous. Long-distance relationships are hard and we haven’t seen each other in a while. When we got to his house I was so nervous I walked up to his door panicked and walked away. But he saw me and opened the door before I got far. His family was also there. If I didn’t mention he is American born Mexican.
We did the meet and greets. Last time he came to my home and met my family. My sisters surprised us and came to visit. I love that he is close to his family like I am to mine.
We went to Rubble Castle
And then we went to the movies to see Maleficent 2 after exploring the area a bit and discussing what to do.
Overall the whole experience and day was better then I expected… I was just so nervous he I would disappoint him and worried he wouldn’t still find me attractive or pleasing. He held my hand the entire movie and every chance he could he hugged me. I couldn’t stop smiling if I had wanted to. My sister and him got along as well. Tho they had met before.
I will see him again in a few days when I stay with him and his family!.๐ฎ

The Forth and Last leg…Part 1
Hello My Friends,
Now I am in California.
I’ve been traveling for about a month now. It has been quite the experience. I have had a much-needed breather and vacation. I am sad it is coming to an end.ย I have finally made it to California tho!!! I was moved almost to tears when I first got to Azuza where my aunt once lived. I had planned to visit her there but wasn’t able to visit her in CA at all. I only was able to visit her after she had moved out of state.ย It was a strange feeling finally visiting the town after many years of waiting. I felt closer to her, altho she is sadly no longer with us. Azuza was her home through some of her biggest life and career roles.

This past month has been about rediscovering myself and developing my faith. It has definitely been an answer to my prayers. I am pleased to say that I feel truly blessed and joyful again๐. I found joy and experiences in things I thought I couldn’t have for myself. I am truly grateful for this opportunity and endeavor of courage. I thank God for opening the doors and making ways for this to happen. Azuza was named after the Azuza Street revival in LA. There are numerous books on the revival.

Like the revival, I felt closer to God in California than I expected to. I had heard how bad that stare was faith wise the for many years…ย But there was this cross that as erected up hight somewhere. No matter where we went we could see it. It gave us, speedily me such peace…ย ย
It really moved me emotionally and reminded me of the movie Paul Hogan did.ย Titled “Almost an Angel” I suggest you watch it. It is definitely one of the best movies I have seen! I wish they made more movies like this!ย
Honesty I did not have as much time to write like I thought I would. However, I did work on my books when able. There was so much to do and take in! I mean look at this hotel!!ย ย It not only had a covered pool it had a swimming river that went under and around spots.ย I wish I had been able to swim… They also have gardens all over inside

I spent some time in Anaheim with my sister and her best friend.ย
Then we went to long beach to visit it with her friend and her family. I learned and participated in brewing coffee according to her friendโs home countryโs customs. It is something that she does with company and gatherings. She roasted unroasted green coffee beans in a small flat iron pan/bowl over a burner outside. (Something we do with popcorn seeds.) When they were brown she then cooled them with a fan on an on a plate. Proceeding to grind them in a mortar and pestle. Then brewing the coffee in a traditional clay pot with water and some seasoning, topped with a horsehair plug to keep it from over boiling. Finally, when done she poured each of us some with a little cream if and sugar if we wished in tiny cups. It took a long time to make but it was well worth it!ย I wish I hadn’t have lost the images I took. Here is one I found as an example of the brewing jug and drinking cups. Kinda reminds me of a Saki set and jug, tea set, or Tai coffee set.ย ย

TheThird Leg of the Trip part 2
We went to a different part of Arizona and on the first day at the hotel, we went for a walk to find a place to eat. And we came upon this Mexican restaurant. It was very modern and lots of metal art. The food was great and it had a nice very open and airy environment.
With a sense of humor to top it off.
On the last day in Arizona we decided to go for a walk and to go inside this beautiful church thst caught our attention… ๐ St. Mary’s Basilica: The current church replaced an earlier adobe church which was built in 1881. Building work on the present church began in 1902 and was completed in 1914. The church was dedicated in 1915, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places as St. Mary’s Church in 1978. The oldest Roman Catholic parish church in the greater Phoenix, Arizona, area, it was the only parish in Phoenix until 1924 and is home to Arizona’s largest stained glass windows collection and a 26 rank pipe organ built by the Schantz Organ Company. Its the thrid oldest Catholic curch. ThecFirst is in St Augastingng Florida.
This structure literally took my breath away! Absolutely beautiful inside and out. Truly Spanish Colonial architecture of the Spanish colonization of the Americas. ใฐ๏ธ
I am not Catholic but I fully believe in The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit.! This church was beautiful and full of peace. Just because I am not Catholic does not mean I don’t love the Lord as much as they do or vice versa. We just walk different paths of faith. I am more of an evangelical Christian. If I have to label it. Tho I would prefer not to. We all have unique relationships with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. What matters most is accepting Christ into your life and heart โค. Not because you have to but because you want to. Jesus loves you and as you are. He is always with you and your bestfriend if wanted. He is my bestfriend for sure!
On the side of the church was a poster for their all saints day festival. We were a day too late to check that out but we saw all the decore form the event still up in the garden. Very interesting since I have never seen one before in person. Too bad I lost the pictures.
We were staying at this super classy highrise hotel with a restaurant on the top floor in Pheonix Arizona. It was by far the fanciest hotel I have ever been to with indoor concerts constantly going on as well.ย On the very last night we made a reservation at that rotating restaurant The “Compass Arizona Grill”ย it was quite the experience with very good food. We felt a little awkward tho since almost everyone there was a couple and there were definitely some proposals, anniversaries and birthdays going around… Along with a spectacular fireworks show. It was different then Seatle’s rotating restaurant. They have a bar or a restaurant you can go to.ย We ordered crab cakes and the cheese fondue which came with fruit, bread, and cheese to dip.ย They also severed some of the best home backed and variety of slices of bread I have ever tasted, very unique The ones I remember were: , pumpkin, regular roll, grain, and sweet-spicy pepper. bread YUMMY! Normally I can not do spicy peppers but I dipped in the cheese,ย it was great and not too spicy for me
.

TheThird Leg of the Trip Part 1
Hello Y’all,
How are you today? I am doing well. I am on my third leg of the trip. I left Arizona a few days ago. It was awesome!ย Our hotel was one of the best I have ever stayed at. It was huge, with a restaurant, a cafe, sports activities, several pools, gardens and in a fun area. I adored the whole place and I hope to go back one day!ย We also went to a cactus garden and went to a butterfly garden and an aquarium with some insects and reptiles. It was my first time seeing a rainbow chameleon and poison dart frogs in person!ย I Loved all of it. Just wish I could have got to the titanic museum too.

Exciting right!ย It is a bit nostalgic for me living out of a suitcase once again for the past two months. Just like I did when I first moved in 2011. As I have been doing so for almost two months with only a week and a half at home in-between. I have been making sure to work on some of my books during my downtime… I’ve been mainly switching between two main books. When I get stuck on one I work on the other. Apparently, I am not the only writer who does this. I see the challenge of re-writing what I lost as part of a character challenge for myself. I am very determined to get some books done as soon as I possibly can. ๐ค I was gonna participate in NaNo. Obviously, I can’t this year. Funny last NaNoWriMo I was traveling as well… Maybe next year I can join in NaNo. Here is the link if you are interested in participating, or curious about what it is. Why am I traveling you ask? Why not? I love to travel and enjoying time with people. Life keeps everyone very busy but is important to enjoy life. If you are lucky enough to get a chance to spend time with people, especially those you care about you shouldn’t pass that up. Most of the best Christmas movies are about busy people not taking time to enjoy life and time with their loved ones.ย The main Characters then remember what was most important to them.ย Then a Christmas miracle happens or Santa gets involved and things get better. If you were in a Christmas movie what would the storyline be? To answer the question seriously as to why am I traveling is mainly because I had the chance to help my sister๐ and to go on the trip I had planned for in July. ๐ฅฐ I want to make the most of life and not pass up any opportunities! I do not want to have regrets in my life.
I was planning on doing some live videos along the way, but honestly, I get shy on camera and stumble over my words. So like the picture says I write better then I talk. I am grateful that I have met some awesome people! I love how everyone is unique and awesome in their own way.๐ Along with having new experiencing and seeing new places as well! I met a pretty famous author without knowing it until now. That was pretty neat. As I say famous people are just normal people too.
This is where I enjoyed several days outside listing to birds and getting inspired.
Grackle birds make the most unique beautiful sounds. I really enjoyed spending my mornings and afternoons with them. We have black ones here but now one believed me. I will try and take a picture of one and post it later. They are my second favorite bird besides vultures.
Grackles are quite the efficient foragers, and will even steal food from less savvy birds. They are omnivores and will eat anything from bugs to minnows to different types of berries and seeds. Of course, these birds aren’t snobby at all and will snatch human food at a moment’s notice. Common Grackles are blackbirds that look like they’ve been slightly stretched. They’re taller and longer tailed than a typical blackbird, with a longer, more tapered bill and glossy-iridescent bodies. Grackles walk around lawns and fields on their long legs or gather in noisy groups high in trees, typically evergreens.
