The Forth and Last leg…Part 1
Hello My Friends,
Now I am in California.

I’ve been traveling for about a month now. It has been quite the experience. I have had a much-needed breather and vacation. I am sad it is coming to an end. I have finally made it to California tho!!! I was moved almost to tears when I first got to Azuza where my aunt once lived. I had planned to visit her there but wasn’t able to visit her in CA at all. I only was able to visit her after she had moved out of state. It was a strange feeling finally visiting the town after many years of waiting. I felt closer to her, altho she is sadly no longer with us. Azuza was her home through some of her biggest life and career roles.
Azuza, CA
This past month has been about rediscovering myself and developing my faith. It has definitely been an answer to my prayers. I am pleased to say that I feel truly blessed and joyful again😊. I found joy and experiences in things I thought I couldn’t have for myself. I am truly grateful for this opportunity and endeavor of courage. I thank God for opening the doors and making ways for this to happen. Azuza was named after the Azuza Street revival in LA. There are numerous books on the revival.
Like the revival, I felt closer to God in California than I expected to. I had heard how bad that stare was faith wise the for many years… But there was this cross that as erected up hight somewhere. No matter where we went we could see it. It gave us, speedily me such peace…
It really moved me emotionally and reminded me of the movie Paul Hogan did. Titled “Almost an Angel” I suggest you watch it. It is definitely one of the best movies I have seen! I wish they made more movies like this!

Honesty I did not have as much time to write like I thought I would. However, I did work on my books when able. There was so much to do and take in! I mean look at this hotel!! It not only had a covered pool it had a swimming river that went under and around spots. I wish I had been able to swim… They also have gardens all over inside
I spent some time in Anaheim with my sister and her best friend.
Then we went to long beach to visit it with her friend and her family. I learned and participated in brewing coffee according to her friend’s home country’s customs. It is something that she does with company and gatherings. She roasted unroasted green coffee beans in a small flat iron pan/bowl over a burner outside. (Something we do with popcorn seeds.) When they were brown she then cooled them with a fan on an on a plate. Proceeding to grind them in a mortar and pestle. Then brewing the coffee in a traditional clay pot with water and some seasoning, topped with a horsehair plug to keep it from over boiling. Finally, when done she poured each of us some with a little cream if and sugar if we wished in tiny cups. It took a long time to make but it was well worth it! I wish I hadn’t have lost the images I took. Here is one I found as an example of the brewing jug and drinking cups. Kinda reminds me of a Saki set and jug, tea set, or Tai coffee set.
If you are interested in learning more about different ways different cultures do coffee you should go here. https://www.culturallyours.com/2019/10/12/traditional-ethiopian-coffee-ceremony/
And Here:
She said she was sad she hadn’t any popcorn because she usually serves both together. It was a truly beautiful experience and she and her family have an amazing story. I loved each and every one of them ❤!
Stay safe and God blesses you today and Always!!

TheThird Leg of the Trip Part 1
Hello Y’all,
How are you today? I am doing well. I am on my third leg of the trip. I left Arizona a few days ago. It was awesome! Our hotel was one of the best I have ever stayed at. It was huge, with a restaurant, a cafe, sports activities, several pools, gardens and in a fun area. I adored the whole place and I hope to go back one day! We also went to a cactus garden and went to a butterfly garden and an aquarium with some insects and reptiles. It was my first time seeing a rainbow chameleon and poison dart frogs in person! I Loved all of it. Just wish I could have got to the titanic museum too.

Exciting right! It is a bit nostalgic for me living out of a suitcase once again for the past two months. Just like I did when I first moved in 2011. As I have been doing so for almost two months with only a week and a half at home in-between. I have been making sure to work on some of my books during my downtime… I’ve been mainly switching between two main books. When I get stuck on one I work on the other. Apparently, I am not the only writer who does this. I see the challenge of re-writing what I lost as part of a character challenge for myself. I am very determined to get some books done as soon as I possibly can. 🤔 I was gonna participate in NaNo. Obviously, I can’t this year. Funny last NaNoWriMo I was traveling as well… Maybe next year I can join in NaNo. Here is the link if you are interested in participating, or curious about what it is. Good luck, break a pen! https://www.nanowrimo.org/

Why am I traveling you ask? Why not? I love to travel and enjoying time with people. Life keeps everyone very busy but is important to enjoy life. If you are lucky enough to get a chance to spend time with people, especially those you care about you shouldn’t pass that up. Most of the best Christmas movies are about busy people not taking time to enjoy life and time with their loved ones. The main Characters then remember what was most important to them. Then a Christmas miracle happens or Santa gets involved and things get better. If you were in a Christmas movie what would the storyline be? To answer the question seriously as to why am I traveling is mainly because I had the chance to help my sister😀 and to go on the trip I had planned for in July. 🥰 I want to make the most of life and not pass up any opportunities! I do not want to have regrets in my life.

I was planning on doing some live videos along the way, but honestly, I get shy on camera and stumble over my words. So like the picture says I write better then I talk. I am grateful that I have met some awesome people! I love how everyone is unique and awesome in their own way.😄 Along with having new experiencing and seeing new places as well! I met a pretty famous author without knowing it until now. That was pretty neat. As I say famous people are just normal people too.
This is where I enjoyed several days outside listing to birds and getting inspired.
Grackle birds make the most unique beautiful sounds. I really enjoyed spending my mornings and afternoons with them. We have black ones here but now one believed me. I will try and take a picture of one and post it later. They are my second favorite bird besides vultures.
Grackles are quite the efficient foragers, and will even steal food from less savvy birds. They are omnivores and will eat anything from bugs to minnows to different types of berries and seeds. Of course, these birds aren’t snobby at all and will snatch human food at a moment’s notice. Common Grackles are blackbirds that look like they’ve been slightly stretched. They’re taller and longer tailed than a typical blackbird, with a longer, more tapered bill and glossy-iridescent bodies. Grackles walk around lawns and fields on their long legs or gather in noisy groups high in trees, typically evergreens.

A Quick Hello
Hello there friends,
How are you doing? I was invited to travel so of course, I said yes! I got the clear from my doctors, to go. I am off on an adventure to go see my Nanna in Utah and spend time with my aunts and mom. We are driving there and back. I really like road trips. I like seeing the scenery and all the small towns. I really needed a vacation with the crazy past few years and the scare I had in July. Here is a selfie I took. Don’t worry, I am not driving, so I can post this.
We made a lot of Starbucks and other coffee stops. We visited two in every state we went through. Who doesn’t like coffee? Hmm? Hehe. I know not everyone does. I am an avid coffee drinker tho. Truthfully, I haven’t been to a Starbucks in little over a year until now. I tend to make my own coffee drinks fancy or not, at home. My go to drink is an iced Peppermint White Mocha. My mom decided to get the Pumpkin Spice Nitro. She dosen’t care for Starbucks usually. However, she found a drink she really liked. To bad it is only seasonal. Mmmm~

I saw the snake river and this real-life stagecoach. I read a lot of historical fiction and fact books. I have always wondered what one looked like in person. Now I know! It was huge! If you get a chance to see one in real life you should!

I’m home now for a bit. I didn’t get to post this till now. My phone is being bad. I went to the doctor yesterday, everything looks good. Blood levels are where they should be. I am relieved! Honestly, I was a bit nervous. I’ve had more than enough doctor visits in my opinion. The next follow up is in a month for the usual Inr check. Till then, I will work on my books, continue to clean out my house and prepare for my next trip… I don’t know when that will be but its good to be ready right? Hugs!

The Smart Watch For Me!
My cardiologist told me they highly suggested that I get a smartwatch that monitors my heart rate. I have Samsung health on my Samsung galaxy 7 active phones. That monitors my heart rate, but not constantly. That was one of the main reasons I got the Galaxy S Active phone years ago. I tried the fit bit but it kept crashing and yet they said nothing was wrong with it… So I figured my heart made it malfunction somehow? Thus I started looking into more expansive, and more recommended watches… Such as: Garmin, Apple, Samsung. I have a small wrist, and because of my heart past I was being picky… And I found this!

https://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/wearables/galaxy-watch-active-2/
It even does an ekg so it says. I talked to my doctor and we both decided it would be a good one. It is due to come out at the end of September! Yay!

I want to get the clouded gray one above. Apparently, you can download your own face covers too like the apple and Garmin ones. Sweet! Now I just need to save up and get it. Hopefully they will have more of the one I want in stock. Everytime I look it is sold out. I must have good taste. *Giggles* Ps. It is andriod or IOS compatible.

You are a Warrior!
Hey You-
Yes you. Guess what…. You are a warrior! Did you know that? I don’t say that lightly. I mean it whole heartedly. Life may have treated you badly. You may have been bullied. You possibly were: physically, mentally, emotionally, or even – sexually abused. You may have had a tragedy or two happen. You mY have a physical problem, or health isues… (maybe all the above.) Well I’m talking to you…. Yes, you….
Those experiences, or situations you have gone through don’t make you weak. They are not your fault, and God is not punishing you!
Mathew 9:10-13 <New American Standard Bible -NASB> Then it happened that as Jesus was reclining at the table in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and were dining with Jesus and His disciples. When the Pharisees saw this, they said to His disciples, “Why is your Teacher eating with the tax collectors and sinners?” But when Jesus heard this, He said, “It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire compassion, and not sacrifice,’ for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
Maybe you thought that God was mad at you, or you had bad karma… Well I want to set that straight…. Take a deep breath… This next part may be hard for you…
You need to tell others how you are feeling or when you are in need. If you don’t speak up and tell someone what’s going on. We can’t help you. Speaking out or asking for help. It takes great courage. Doing so it is important. PLEASE talk to some. Because- You matter, you are important, and you are loved.
It really angers me when I learn of people hurting others. Especially if it is physical or sexual violence. My mamma bear wants to come out and retaliate. I have been witness to some really bad people’s actions. It makes me cry for those who are hurt and hurting. Knowing how I feel about it, and knowing God loves us all <John 3:16> I can’t imagine how much more it pains God to see his children suffering an hurting each other.
If you have suffered from anything its not from God. <John 10:10> You are a survivor! You are a warrior!!! Use the trails you have been through to encourage and help others. Just being you and living your day to day life, you are an inspiration!

You are strong, you are loved and you are not alone! You are a warrior!!!

My Dad’s Heath….
Hello All,

“My Dad”
My dad is one of my biggest heroes. He would go to all my doctor heart appointments and act silly to keep the mood light. I have always tried to be a good daughter. [I’m not perfect tho. 🤣]
When I was a child and he worked swing shift, I would always make excuses to stay up and wait for him to come home. That became easier as I got older. Sometimes when he got home we woul all as a family go swimming under the stars. He has always strived to keep the family close and to be a good dad 👨 ❤
He is a kind man who works hard. He is always learning new things and creating new things, and inventing new ways to fix things. He is almost always willing to help others whenever he can. He never says a bad word about anyone. Whenever he got sick he would hide it if possible. He hardly ever showed weakness.

“A squirrel on the Wolf dad carved with a chainsaw”
In 1992 just before hurricane Andrew he had a heart attack. That was the first time we saw him really ill. I remember sitting outside the hospital door in Orlando while Hurricane Andrew passed over the state. Trying to entertain my sisters and not worry about my dad while mom was with him. That was a difficult task for sure. He refused to let us girls see him which was painful for us. Thankfully he survived and recovered.

“Dad and Rinley”
It wasn’t until December 2015 where he had a second heart attack and Flatlined. Thank God the doctor didn’t give up on Dad and he came to after 11 electro shocks. After that he had a triple bypass, a stent, and a defibulator put in throughout three surgeries, within the same week. He was subosoed to make a full recovery but he was still pretty weak. Because of a blood clot in his somach that caused issues getting blood to his leggs on top of a bad hip. That didn’t stop him from being as active as possible.

“Mom and Dad”
Then in 2018 he developed strep / cellulitis in his foot which turned into a some sort of vasular ulser. It took most the skin off the top of his foot almost causeing him to lose his foot. I won’t share the pictures I have here but possibly in a book in tbe futer. It was pretty gross at some points.

He became bedridden, all the doctors said there was nothing they could do that he should just prepare for the end. We had nurses and physical therapy coming several times a month. It really tested our faith. Dad had blood poisoning three maybe four times. He was on several antibiotics non stop. We didn’t give up tho, we kept praying!

“Jini and Dad.”
After months of his foot getting worse we finally went to see a second doctor who wanted to do a bypass surgery in his legs even though everyone insisted it would be a lost cause. They they proceeded to do the bypass surgery in his legs, they were pretty sure they would still have to amputate his foot later tho. But we kept praying and standing on the word of God. When reading the Bible out loud to him we came across a verese that we know God gave us for the trials we’ve been facing….

We claimed that over him and stood in faith. They kept insisting that his foot had to be taken, and maybe more. The day before the sugery, which we didn’t realize was scheduled they heard blood flow. So we asked them to push the sugery back and they agreed to push it back three days to see if there would be enough blood flow to save his foot. After the second day they canceled his sugery and he started a treatment that they use for burn victims. Called mist therapy.

“Jabber and another chainsaw carving of dad’s.”
After a month of treatment his foot was well to come home. I took him to a burn dr three timesca week untill he was well enough for a skin graft. When they did his first graph they also had to remove a some of the bone in his foot and big toe due to it being infected. But nothing to major. His first graph was promising tho not perfect but he needed a second one from his own skin from his thigh. Tho painful for sure he made a full recovery after almost a year of stress, fear, anger and pain!
Don’t Give up hope for a miracle. It may take a while, and may not come about the way we wsnt. But God is a Good! He is a loving father who gave us his son Jesus.

Don’t Give up hope and be strong. We may not understand the path we are traveling but it will be a path that will make a difference. 😀 God brings good out of all bad situations. I truly believe that and I fully trust God.

My dad never gave up, and he’s better, znd more active now tgen after his bypass surgery in 2015. He is one of my biggest heroes and I strive to be more like him.

“I Love my Dad”
God bless you today and always!

Out of the Comfort zone?
Time flies so fast, choices are made, roads are traveled, plans, and dreams are made. “LIFE happens while you’re making other plans”-Unknown

I first saw that quote in the movie “Kuffs” it is a truth that is more real over the past years than it has ever been in my life. Don’t let disappointments broken plans and broken dreams get you down because God’s got a plan. Do your best and make the most of every opportunity. Don’t have regrets follow your heart and listen to God. Don’t overthink because that’s a sure way to get stressed out emotional and crash.

I know from experience. 4 years ago I took a huge leap of faith and moved across country I let go of the reins and I let God start guiding me completely it hasn’t been the easiest road but it sure has been a wild adventure and I look forward to what God has for me in the future. “All things work for good for those who love the Lord” -Romans 8:28 hold on to that when the going gets tough and remember you are never alone!
